LifeChoices asks you to be 28-31 days from your last period before you come in for a pregnancy test. This is to insure that you have an accurate pregnancy test result. The hormone hCG is detected for a positive result. Typically it takes about the amount of time of a missed period for this hormone to show up. For more information about pregnancy options including abortion, adoption and parenting click here.
